

Not really what I was expecting. I think I know what's happened, something's gone wrong with it and, instead of fixing the problem, Mario's just forced the flap open and broken the spindle. Nice. I've put a bulb across the feed and it seems to be dead but I gave the motor 9 volts and what's left of it spins away merrily


So the question is, do I try to fix the motor and then try to fix the air con, or do I try to fix the air con first? I have a feeling one or both of these isn't going to happen.
Btw I think I remember Sam saying something about it but I'm not sure if your wRong-Hand Drive motors are the same - it seems like the glovebox was assembled into the dash and then the whole lot was fitted to the car with little thought to how anyone was going to get it out without removing the whole dash again, so there's a screw holding the glovebox in that you can't get to without giving it some grief and distorting the bracket it's screwed to
