Wanted - fuse diagrams

Talk about the 406's electrical system, what wires do what, how to add extra functionality, etc.

Wanted - fuse diagrams

Post by steve_earwig »

I reckon this is something we're lacking (along with any useful wiring diagrams of course  ) The 2002-onwards cars are still on Service Box and they seem (so far...) to be accurate (to my car anyway), but there's nothing before that apart from Blue's 1996 D8 in the knowledge base.

So, any chance any of you with a handbook can scan/draw/photograph/write down yours? Also you'd better say if it's actually been accurate...

Cheers pipple,

Steve

I dunno, what do we have on here the most? There's all sorts really, - 1.8s, 1.9s, 2.0s, 2.1s, turbos, the odd V6... I'd have thought it would be better by year anyway.

Hmm, Autodata, I might even be able to look at that.

Rejoice 406 owners, (even ex-pat Sassenachs), for it has reappeared

Now somebody find a way of getting us perma-access before it vanishes again, (please). :P

For D8's they list pre '97 and after; don't ask me why.
If you've got access to autodata let me know & we can do half each.

It's only available to the trade, not cheap to buy unless you find a copy on *cough* ebay *cough*
Chris; stick a meter across the element and make sure it's not open circuit for starters; otherwise it's a fuse, wiring or relay.

Is this different to servicebox, which was also only available to the trade?
