With stats like this you should be getting around 10-12 meg max. You'd never get anywere near the full 20

Now is your router plugged into the master socket with no extension wires? this can slow down the speed. Are you using the correct filters which sky provided?

Theres a good sky forum. www.skyuser.co.uk get some good advice before running sky customer service. If and when you do ring the tech help you need to get to level 2 with has real techie people there. Level one is automatic robots and ou'll get nothing more than unplug it for 10 sec and plug back in.

ah yes customer services i recall the time my router broke:

he never awnsered the cost question, i just recieved a new modem and the phone that came with it. Level 2 tech support i assume would be able to understand the concept of being smashed quicker.

Teamster thought Virgin had upgraded their network to 10:1 ratio. Shouldn't you been getting closer to 2 meg upload?

I'll have to check the config file on the cable modem, I know that they have been phasing in the new upload speeds over the last few months.

was getting paranoid there was a problem with my pc but just downloaded the speednet app onto my Iphone and getting 1.47, so must be the line or service sky is providing
