
I changed the fuel filter, inevitably there was some diesel spilt, but she started up afterwards. When backing it out of the garden the engine stalled, and the EML came on. I've almost flattened the battery trying to start it. I've disconnected the plug on top of the diesel filter, and the one that sits on the bunch of cables just below the filter housing and zapped some wd40 into them to clear out any diesel that may be causing the problem. I have also pulled the wires from the ECU, and pushed them back in again, but still no joy.
The battery is now on charge, and its getting dark, so it'll be tomorrow morning before I can wiggle any wires about.........but, where do I start ?
