1. Next year there will be a complete overhual of the MOT system. Apparently they will fail any aftermarket HID's on the spot. (MOT man gave me a little booklet that he was sent in the post as we were talking about headlights).
2. Because you don't have a clear lense it will make the headlights scatter the beam.
3. A good set of uprated headlight bulbs are just as good.

I had Phillips Xenon Vision or Blue Vision or something :oops: In my D8 and the headlights were better than the Stock Xenons in my Dad's Volvo V50 T5 and his Mondeo ST220!
