d9 hdi 90 rapier estate

"Understeer" is when you hit the fence with the front of the car.
"Oversteer" is when you hit the fence with the rear of the car.
"Horsepower" is how fast you hit the fence.
"Torque" is how far you take the fence with you.

if its done on a petrol car itl fail on the mot if the cat is removed,
if you want to de-cat it buy another cat off a breaker/ebay and evict the inside of it put that on on and keep the original for mot times

I have read it makes the Turbo spool up a lot quicker on an HDI......Dont know about gains on a petrol mate. Luckily my 1990 Cossie does not need one :cheesy:

I was thinking about smashing the internals out of my Cat on my HDI :cheesy:

my old Nissan 200 was bullet proof with 430brake  could thrash it daily and it never let me down, the only internal mods were Wiseco forged pistons, ARP head stud kit and rod bolts and a new oil pump. everything else were bolt mods. i think the reliability came from having Deep Cryogenic Treatment on everything from this guy http://www.frozensolid.co.uk/

but back on subject il be cutting the cat off and welding up a 65mm twin box system when ive got the new engine in.
