Although he was tempted and i was more enthusiastic about a lexus GS300 instead he got the primera. It was done properly with a certificate and car plan. Nissan honoured their warranty and the lpg crowd put a warranty on their stuff. They service the LPG stuff for us when it needs it. The only difference is the car uses a bit more oil and needs better spark plugs.
It starts on petrol heats up then its over on LPG automatically, it takes longer in the cold. You can also switch back to petrol if you want, i find the engine revs a tad more freely, but my dad doesnt really notice it. The cars doing good enough mpg the equivilant of 60mpg most of the time, but its still a 1.8 so its dead. Get a guzzler like the lexus or and old Merc or BMW petrol then you have a bit of power.
Some cars will pink on gas,
it can burn out valves to ..but lpg is good on big engines,
ihad my range rover running on it it was 50% smoother running on gas,,
somepeople said it stunk but it didnt bother me as ive been driving fork lift trucks for years so ikind go used to the smell of burning gas, its less harmless than petrol or derv poloution "i think,
