I think it's very unlikely to & even if it does, it won't give you half the information a PP2000 will.

Someone recently said they'd seen one on eBay for under £90, I think.
Mine cost me £155, but even at that, I think it's worth having.
2002 HDi 2.2 Exec Estate, (2008-12) (wonderful)
2003 HDi 2.2 6-speed Exec Estate (2012-19) (also a gem)
2009 Citroen C5 2.0 HDi VTR+ Estate (godawful heap)
2008 BMW E91 330i touring (great fun - murdered by a reversing SUV)
2007 BMW E91 325i touring (slower smoother quieter)

You can get the software easily enough, what you're paying for the Lexia 3 interface / leads and you still need an old laptop.

The problem is that diesels didn't have to be OBD2 compliant until 2004, so Pug didn't bother standardising them. Other scanners can work to some extent, but generally only give you the generic fault code number(s) and allow you to clear them.

You can use planet to reprogram keys, configure replacement ecu's etc. and enable some options, (though generally only on newer cars). Also has live data diagnostics, ability to operate nearly everything in test mode and so on.

I've been looking around but 90 quid (that's including the postage) seems to be about the cheapest just now and I can't justify spending that when I don't actually have any problems to solve with it. Of course, when I do I'll be back here and be clobbered with huge import taxes

Unlikely.

I found a couple of read-only parameters relating to history:

Total distance 244520 km, (about right, nearly 152k miles). :|
Average consumption 7.8 l /100 km - that's 36 mpg.

I reckon the first of these is what it copies to the mileage recorder if you change the clocks.

No! Belay that! In keeping with true Gallic logic, it's what it ADDS to the mileage recorder if you change the clocks.

Re: quick answer needed,

so thats a no then ?

iwas thinking of changing my clocks to ones with the chrome,
so how wouid i get round the Mileage,
idont want the Mileage doubling up :(

Maybe iwill just take the black platic front out of the clocks and spray them chrome
it might be less hastle,

if pp2000 doesnt do stuff like mileage correction what other goodies does it have other than reading and Erasing fault codes,
if thats all it does iwill pass on buying one Methinks,
