So I'm wiring something running on twincore (thin stereo cable) from the driver and passenger doors (behind doorcard) so far I've poked a small hole in the insulation and routed it out of the door into the hinge area.
I ideally wanted to feed it into the waterproof pipe/gaiter/tunnel and have popped both ends out and taken the check strap/ door restrictor off so the door gives me more access and i can see two ways in on both sides- on the passenger side for example- I can't simply feed it where the waterproof tubing goes into because there's a plastic shower head styled partition that has nonused holes- can't seem to poke the cable through? And behind the empty plug on the car side of the hinge area there is something solid that I can't seem to feed around into the foot area?
If anyone knows a way through please don't hesitate! I don't really fancy drilling a new hole due to the poor access with the door on it's hinge at all. And is it possible there's disused cables on both sides that go back into the cabin? There seems to be common connectors taped to the inside of both doorcard sat doing nothing? If they're puddle light connectors- even better!
You'll have to drill through two of the unused holes in the door gland, it's not too bad a job.

That's the plastic shower head thing then? Surely drilling access is going to require the door to be removed? Are those pre-exisiting non-used holes sealed then?

Wrong! I've decided to just poke holes and poxy em up if i can get through ;-)

You can get to them from the cabin with a drill. Yes they are blocked off but they drill through pretty easily.

Been extremely busy with a new job- and didn't actually get the passengers door back on properly-the blots are through the hinge and into the door- but not fastened- i can't seem to do them up correctly and align them so that the door will shut any tips!?
