Need some advice...

Post by Bailes1992 »

How easy do you think it will be to get a 6 month old octopus in the boot of my saloon?
How big is a 6 month old octopus?
Also need some cleaning tips for getting the slime up afterwards!

Cheers,
Bailes.

Seal the box cause they're crafty buggers!

Depends on the species as well as to the size. Domestic UK species usually quite small even when adult.

Think it might be worth getting a big fish tank for the boot?

1) Open boot
2) Insert octopus
3) Close boot
Bailes1992 wrote:How big is a 6 month old octopus?
1) Measure one of its tentacles from root to tip
2) Multiply by 2.5
3) The resulting figure will be around the diameter of a fully-stretched octopus
Bailes1992 wrote:Also need some cleaning tips for getting the slime up afterwards!
1) Open boot
2) Remove octopus
3) Take one drinking straw ...

Don't use a fish tank without a seal, it'll climb out and mate with your spare wheel.

You'll have 8 tentacled Pirellis running round everywhere

I bet Bailes will train the Octupus to 'detail' his car, it'd be done in about 30 seconds

All those little suckers would be good for removing ground-in dirt without dragging it over the paintwork and leaving swirls, right enough!

Also, how about training them to pull out all the trolley dings in the bodywork?

Autotrader, local used car websites.

Avoid Gumtree. Unless you like getting pestered by wasters texting saying "WUD U TK 150 FR FUCOS?", people phoning saying they'll be there at 6 and never turning up, people turning up kicking the tyres but declining to even have a test drive for no reason whatsoever, people turning up, bouncing the suspension up and down, giving it the full 100 point check, finding the most trivial of faults (such as a tiny scratch) and offering £150 for it. Then, if you do sell it, you will see it back on gumtree an hour later, photos taken after a fresh hose down, but with an extra £500 added to the profit, some magical "full service history and timing belt change" and new battery, tyres, brakes etc. come out of nowhere.
