406 Dashboard light

Talk about the 406's electrical system, what wires do what, how to add extra functionality, etc.

Thanks for that,

Cars running as per normal,

Thought it might be a problem with the alarm, at least once a week it has a mad 5 mins and goes off for fun when i lock the car, it even goes off when i shut the door and dont lock it,then its ok for a week.

Thanks for the reply guys,

Thought i had it cured by taking the battery lead off, its been ok all day up and running, just looked at it and the indicators are flashing but the alarm is not sounding. Its nearly 24 hours since it started last night, it worked fine all day seems it only starts at night, any ideas, am going changing batteries in key fob in morn.

Thanks

I'd say the car battery is low. Failing that get the fault codes on the BSI read...

Mine was flashing yellow lights during the night, turned out to be a low battery and also the car thinks the bonnet is open sometimes (bonnet sensor) haven't found this yet though to replace it!

If i lock it by the key, its fine. I haven't tried locking it on the fob since it happened as the bonnet sensor will more than likely set it off again
