Tyre Advise please
I need to put a new set of tyres on my 406 salloon,it's a 2.0 16v,standard 15 inch alloys, tyre size 195/65/15. The tyres that are on there are in good nick but don't grip in the wet,Pirrelli P6000's. What tyres would you recommend? Cheers in advance

my car is the same as yours and i put toyo proxes t1r (i think) and they grip amazinglly well in the wet or dry, in standard size 195/65/r15 they cost £196 for a full set, but i fitted them myself so that helped the cost a bit
i got them off ebay

compared to the budgets i had on before yes, not the quietest tyre but they are good enough, the best all round tyre (mileage, grip wet or dry, noise) would be uniroyal rainsport but they are hard to get hold of in this size and expensive

I'm using Kumho KH15 about £40 each, they are pretty good, def better than dunlop and p6000's and cost less.

Re: Tyre Advise please
I recommend buying tyres from my uncle at ATS Ivybridge in Devon at a discounted price! Thats if you want to travel of course!BOOTNECK wrote:I need to put a new set of tyres on my 406 salloon,it's a 2.0 16v,standard 15 inch alloys, tyre size 195/65/15. I'm well happy with the Kumho's at £40 each.
