im looking for wiring diagram for citroen Xsara.

been looking into adding the Mfd from the xsara phase 3 to the 306

nothing much on the net it just brings all the piccasso crap up

I've got the sedre for pug and I'm on with the citroen one now, I have a project in mind that, if it's possible, I'm sure will be impressive, I'm not really sure it'll be possible though unfortunately!

Ive just orderd a Xsara haynes manual,
just for the wiring diagrams, just got to wait for that to turn up,

amate of mine as got a late top spec xsara, so im going to grab the cd changer/ headunit and the loom
Mfd., and the stalk , before it goes to the crush,

It might not work tho as its all multiplexed stuff on the xsara,

iwill give it try tho

A speedo swap, it's far from a straight swap but the actual wiring might be as simple as just plugging in, but I need to check the diagrams first.

You might have problems with the stereo from a multiplexed car, they are coded with the car's vin, if the vin doesn't match you get a beeping through the speakers, it may be possible to just erase the vin from the dump in the stereo on VAN, but IIRC on CAN it won't turn on until it gets a signal from the bsi.

I'm not sure yet, I need to check the diagrams to narrow my options, it's going to be digital though!

You mean Digital as in like the Picasso display?

Theyd look good in a pug but there not a reliable unit

Yeah, like the picasso display, but I think the C2/3 might be easier, just not sure how easy it will be to get into the 406 dash!

Just been doing a bit of research, what make/model is the stereo? It might be possible to disable the code altogether.
