Hi mate - it takes a couple of goes to head round it. If you still can't figure it in a few attempts then check the 'read me' files as there should be a step by step guide with pictures.

Also, there is a walk through on youtube.....

Yes I did that too, but that is because I updated the software from the CD and I had to do it all over again...

Don't give up, my laptop has just gone 'band' so I need to sort mine out too - if only I can remember how

I think you need to plug into the net to activate but not on a search engine or anything - I think it just needs to see a connection to activate - or is that just my one..?

Upon start-up mine says 'check for updates? ' then definitely say no as if you say yes it somehow forgets and needs re-bloody-activating........

Look at the 'read me' files and study the pictures. Its what made me install it and not launch it across the room....

you don't need to be connected to the net ,when you get to the section "activation" it gives you 2 options one is automatic via internet or manual, manual is the one you want.

It's a pain but can be done, discovering you can copy/paste the keygen output code makes it a bit less irritating.

Last time I was a this stage, my problem was in not putting the right account and computer no.s in to begin with......

Luck
2002 HDi 2.2 Exec Estate, (2008-12) (wonderful)
2003 HDi 2.2 6-speed Exec Estate (2012-19) (also a gem)
2009 Citroen C5 2.0 HDi VTR+ Estate (godawful heap)
2008 BMW E91 330i touring (great fun - murdered by a reversing SUV)
2007 BMW E91 325i touring (slower smoother quieter)
