I was reading the tube just after doing my chrome with it the other day, and it says you can use it on alloys.
Tried it and it came up fantastic, you can really see the metallicy finish. Highly recommended. If you want to see just how much of a day you can pass cleaning the car........
Yeah I'm sure it's acting as a rubbing compound and taking the top layer of material off, including the crap. T-Cut would probably give the same result and be a bit less aggressive .
Great if it's working but be careful not to rub through the protective layers....

I think on the chrome bits, you'd be more likely to rub through to plastic, rather than metal.
And let me tell you, if you rub through that chrome bit between your front bumper and grill, there'll be hell to pay. You'll have Dai, Welton and loads of others out for your blood.

I though we (I) decided that although the chrome bit will fit, it appeared that the black grille was slightly different too because it sat ON the chrome on Play's car whereas if you look at your standard black bit now there is absolutely no way anything could go under it there's no room!
I haven't found out how much the black grille would be yet.
...carry on.
