Mileage doesn't make THAT much of a difference. My 406 was renewed at about 246 squid after haggling and the 407 at 306...after haggling.

I only insure for 5,000 miles a year. If I go over this, I agreed to pay £5 per extra 1,000. I don't think that's too bad. According to my MOT history I only do about 4,000 most years.

Bailes, when I was 21 back in 1993 I paid over £1200 to insure a Astra GTE 16v T/P/F&T, so you see some things get better with age it's just I can't think of any others ,
Oh yeah! the ache's 'n' pain's .
ps. I passed my test @ 17 so had 4 years ex & 4 years N.C.B & one of my buddy's paid over £2500 to insure a cossie , Happy Day's
Carefree & heavy rightfooted, Oh & 4 star @ less than £2.00 a gallon .

, Lozz I remember spending six months trying to work out how tthe f**k I could aford the £4500 for a Courtny 300/250 turbo conversion just to screw my mates cossie.
Then I traded it for a cavalier 4x4 turbo & Regal Autosport took it to 350bhp & I spent two happy years racing every cossie / escort cossie / Renault 21 turbo ect that I could find in the east/west Mids, Oh & outruning the cop's......... Ah! back in the good old day's before speed cameras .
