Mileage doesn't make THAT much of a difference. My 406 was renewed at about 246 squid after haggling and the 407 at 306...after haggling.

When we take out insurance Quote we go on there score board,

I only insure for 5,000 miles a year. If I go over this, I agreed to pay £5 per extra 1,000. I don't think that's too bad. According to my MOT history I only do about 4,000 most years.

Bailes, when I was 21 back in 1993 I paid over £1200 to insure a Astra GTE 16v T/P/F&T, so you see some things get better with age it's just I can't think of any othersBailes1992 wrote:I was chuffed to buts my policy was £5 under £800 this year

weird thats what istarted off with Astra GTE. nippy wasnt they,
ithink my insurance was around 1500 notes, thatd be about 3k in todays money,
idowngraded to MG Maestro, not long after insurance wasnt much cheaper on that,
and outcame the datsuns much cheaper with added free rust,

Then I traded it for a cavalier 4x4 turbo & Regal Autosport took it to 350bhp
