Can't help but think you'd be better off buying a good 2.2 and nurturing it. Swapping all the bits is obviously possible, but have you thought it through?
Apart from the obvious engine c/w dmf, clutch, thrust brg, slave cyl, dpf housing, centre exhaust, I suspect you're going to need the engine ecu, BSI, lock set, keys, transponder, engine bay wiring loom, complete vacuum system, the list just goes on.....
If you want to avoid the risk of future MOT problems, you might even have to fit an additive tank you'll never use - imagine PAYING to do that!

I can't see you being able to do it without having both cars and lots of time, not to mention locating a good 20MB04 'box.
Then to get that amount of power, you'll need at least uprated fuel pressure and MAP sensors, plus about £400 for the remap......
In summary:
2.2 donor car £?
engine rebuild £ 400?
gearbox £ 200?
clutch + dmf £ 350
uprated sensors £ 250
egr delete / air doser removal £ 75
remap £ 400
plus something for service items, fluids, probably an engine mounting or two, a drop link, exhaust clamp - most of these tend to happen if you remove / replace the gearbox.
Budget for £2.5k and a year of your life.
A good 2.2 would allow you to sell your car and knock the first two items off the list above. You may want to do the conversion, but your accountant will think you're certifiable.
