I can't imagine Dai rattle canning anything on this car! It's absolutely immaculate.Welly wrote:
As for fixing the car I'd tart up what's left and leave it until you feel like coughing for the repair at some point. You should get a salvage wing mirror easily, you could even rattle the coloured infill on that and get a reasonable finish with lacquer.
Yeah, not holding out much hope for CCTV or anything really, she'll be asking the staff and parents at the school if they saw anything.Welly wrote:I don't think you'll get much joy with CCTV as you'd need to capture the incident and the reg number and fixed cams just don't have the range.

I wouldn't say "immaculate", it does show some signs of being the car that's done all the school and shopping runs for nearly 8 years. But it's a nice car, very low mileage, nice spec, and it's certainly in "good" condition, so it will be fixed by someone with a degree of competence.Sam wrote:I can't imagine Dai rattle canning anything on this car! I tend to agree. It will only get peppered in stone chips, keyed by yoofs and driven into by imbeciles. My 407 has quite a number of parking dings on the passenger side door.... caused by the future Mrs CJ resting her car's door on mine when she's getting into it with eleventy one thousand bags.DaiRees wrote:She was talking about getting a new car recently, but the conversation last night turned to "what's the f*cking point???!?!?"
