Don't know for certain, but I suspect so. Galletto is almost certainly an old DOS program, so will work with Windows versions up to and including XP. I suspect there's some sort of 'virtual machine' utility you can use but have no personal experience, sorry.

For XP and the like, simply copy everything off the CD to a new folder and create a desktop shortcut to point to the only .exe file

I keep an ancient XP laptop just for Galletto & PP2k

Is there anyone in the Midlands area who would be willing to flash the software for me?

Depends on what you call the Midlands - I'm in the East Midlands (NN17) and could do it for you.

About an hour, I'd say.
PM me to make arrangements if interested.

Morning, Thanks for that, really appreciated. I spoke to HDi tuning yesterday and they explained that the Galletto 1260 was very problematic and that a MPPS FLASH CABLE was a much better option.

So I have bought one to try. I will give that a whirl when it arrives and if no joy then I will 'Corby bound' and will make the necessary arrangements with you.

Will keep you posted on my progress, cheers. :P

Hi Trevor, I never really trusted my Galletto as it was always freezing/crashing etc..

Where did you get the MPPS FLASH CABLE from?

I re-installed my Galletto yesterday, on my old PP2000/ diagnostics XP laptop. I'll try to flash my ECU with a different map ( 200 down to the 180 ) as a practice run for the proper remap, when its all sorted.
