1999 d9 hdi estate with 97,000mls any ideas gave £1300 for it last sept

i would have thought £2000
any service history, i.e. cambelt change

yeah had cambelt and crank pulley not really looking to get rid at the moment just curious of its value? didnt think itd be worth as much as that,you work in a main stealers then james ? you seem to know your stuff.

btw my dad had the cambelt changed when he owned the car not sure if the tensioners were changed also is it advisable to change the aux belt tensioner?

i work for Volvo, not Peugeot unfortunaltley, my dad has the honor of working for them

the aux belt tensioner only needs to be changed when you get a nasty high pitched squeal
the cambelt tensioner should have been changed when the belt was done, do you have the invoice for the work, if so is there something on it called a 'motor kit'

£1,300 was prob about right when you bought it, doubt you'd get much more than £1k now.

Mines a 2001 and I have mine in papers for £2,400. Its also been "sold" twice on ebay for £2,000 and £1,800.

i need to check on that will have to get my father to look for invoice or speak to garage that did the work how much is the hourly labour rate down there james?!! :?:

didnt think itd be worth much more than a grand but looking at the thread regarding that dodgy estate off ebay that went for £1200!!!!!!! :shock:
