whats my motor worth?
1999 d9 hdi estate with 97,000mls any ideas gave £1300 for it last sept

the aux belt tensioner only needs to be changed when you get a nasty high pitched squeal
the cambelt tensioner should have been changed when the belt was done, do you have the invoice for the work, if so is there something on it called a 'motor kit'

£1,300 was prob about right when you bought it, doubt you'd get much more than £1k now.
Mines a 2001 and I have mine in papers for £2,400. Its also been "sold" twice on ebay for £2,000 and £1,800.

i need to check on that will have to get my father to look for invoice or speak to garage that did the work how much is the hourly labour rate down there james?!!
