Hey up all :cheesy:

For those who dont know,iv got a 98 D8 glx v6

I am looking to get a trip computer up and ruinning and was just wondering how you guys would recomend going about it?

Did they come on D8's as standard in some models?

If so what will i need to do to get the little blighter working?

2003 - 2008: 1998 Peugeot 406 2.1 TD 110bhp LX Saloon
2008 - 2009: 2004 Honda Accord 2.2 CDTI 136bhp Executive Saloon
2009 - 2013: 2002 Peugeot 406 2.0 HDI 110bhp Executive Saloon
2013 - 2021: 2007 Peugeot 407 2.2 HDI 170bhp Executive Saloon (mapped to 213bhp :twisted:)
2021 - ????: 2016 Ford Mondeo 2.0 TDCi 180bhp Titanium

If it's the same as the Coupe,just swap the wiper stalk for one with the button on the end and then cahnge the number dial on your radio display to 2,hey presto job done :cheesy:

If the connector going into the back of the display has 2 rows of pins (the connector on the loom, not the socket) then try what Bootneck says.

Otherwise you need to wire in (from memory) a ground, a button, a tap from the speed sensor, a tap on the fuel gauge sender and one line coming from the ECU which I can't tell you about unless your ECU is a Bosch 3.2

Hmmm... Might be tempted to try that with my 99 D9 GLX myself.
Would be nice to have the trip computer.

Can't be dealing with wiring and stuff just replacing the stalk.
Things go pop if I touch wiring ;)

if you remove the multifunction display there is a mode switch on the side, to change its function
