Yup, t'is official, the turbo has ceased, "it's not suckin' or blowin'"(mechanics words, not mine)! The small whistle I heard from it just before the lack of power must have been the bearings giving up..! But hey, at least it wasn't on the motorway.
So, would anyone be able to advise me on which turbo the stock 2.0L 8valve lump has as I think I've found one on e-bay which might fit and I want to make sure before I buy... Is it the same T25/T28 which is used on the nissan 200SX? Or are the flanges / brackets different. If not, would this one do?

I've filled out the enquiries form on Essex Turbo's website and will see when they can get back to me, but I would like to get something sorted now as I'll have to 'find' someone to fit it on the cheapish.
Also, would it do any more damage if I ran the car with the turbo ceased? As said on previous post, I need to do a 35mile motorway trip there and back every day next week, so I know it is underpowered, but at 70mph cruising on the motorway, would this cause more damage?
