Well I'd just like to say I've got it back and
Woo Hoo!! it is fantastic
I'm going to do a shiney new thread about it all but my god the new engine mount makes a MASSIVE difference to the driving! clutch judder is all but gone, down-changes are super smooth, slow driving is super smooth it honestly feels like a brand new car!
And the power is tip top it's really fast! the throttle response is no longer flat at low revs and there's a huge push at 2000 rpm (spun the front wheels in 2nd in the wet) this is down to the new EGR not being open and obviously the intercooler hose (which I'm still waiting on but has been heath robinson'd at the mo).
The car even has a new sound - a nice low gruff, zingy sound (maybe the new CAT etc?).
Soops - the new cat and down pipe were £217.00 fitted and they never moaned about it's fitting - maybe it's better quality? interestingly last year I mistakenly ended up with the top of the range eggsauce system for my car so maybe that helped ease the connections?
I'm pleased about reviving this car because for the sake of £900.00 I reckon I've got a 406 which is comparable (if not better) than a 2004 model in terms of service.
One slight bad news is that the rear sussy knock is the anti roll bar mounting points and to change the offside one requires the fufel tank to be dropped on the filler neck side que: possible dirt ingress

he's doing some research for me to see if there's another way
Tomorrow I might try that brake disc bedding-in exercise that steve posted (5 increasingly hard stops from 60mph) not sure though - already seen smoke down there
Oh and my man said my HDi was the quickest he'd ever driven
