Where is everyone?

Post by Doggy »

Quiet on here this morning. Apparently there's some sort of mass rally going on in Cardiff, could that be the reason?Image

Here come the Daves?
2002 HDi 2.2 Exec Estate, (2008-12) (wonderful)
2003 HDi 2.2 6-speed Exec Estate (2012-19) (also a gem)
2009 Citroen C5 2.0 HDi VTR+ Estate (godawful heap)
2008 BMW E91 330i touring (great fun - murdered by a reversing SUV)
2007 BMW E91 325i touring (slower smoother quieter)

I was in the same place I usually am at 8am on a Sunday - in bed (or to be more precise, asleep on the sofa :frown: )
<steve_earwig> I think this forum is more about keeping our cars going with minimal outlay than giving our cars more reason to go bang

I usually end up passing out there after a "few" beers. Dunno about last night though - I stayed at home not drinking

Getting up at 05:00/05:30 in the week - I also get up at said time at the weekends :(

Damn that "body clock" :(

I say 'get up' it's more wake up, try to get back top sleep, succeed, then feel like sh*t all day

Supafrisk, you are into horses eh?

I can't get anything in my 406 for horse stuff, all sorts of tack in the car and boot.

Once my wife gets home from work, I never see her til she's finished at the farm, hardly see her at weekends either.

I have a very good customer goes all over the place selling horsey stuff, they make their own clothing and all sorts of showing stuff at the farm they own.I look after their van, their 4x4, and their kids cars. They have a huge trailor that they take to shows.

I guess there's two things you need to buy yourself there Supa: a lock for your bedroom door and an leccy blanket (and possibly a can of Mace :cheesy: )

She hasn't got the room or the time, but thanks anyway.

Are you struggling for time with yours?

Ouch :frown: I bet that was painful!

I understand why you would be shy of getting on the horse again too soon.

17 Hands is huge, my daughter had a Clydesdale, he was huge, but a gentle giant.

My wife has a pony 14.2 hands. She is a very pretty show pony, Welsh x Arab. She is a pain sometimes, scared of her own shadow. She's about 7, my wife had her from a baby, she had her broken. She can be ridden on the road, but she's a bit nervy.
I bought a 4x4 to tow a trailer so that she could be taken to shows....the daft mare won't go in it, gave the trailer to my daughter then she had it nicked :(

I have some pictures of her on my facebook profile.

Good luck with the trip to Doncaster :D

If you are ever in Lancashire, you are welcome to ride her :D
