Electric windows

Talk about the 406's electrical system, what wires do what, how to add extra functionality, etc.

It's by design. The drivers window switch has a double click, the others don't. (This is for a D8, don't know about D9!)

D9's the same. I'm sure on other cars (eg veedubs) it's done on how long you hold the button down and I always thought it'd be an idea to see if the relays would do the deal. It's on the list there, see it? Just above having my toenails manicured. :|

D9 is the same, coupes all have one-touch on both sides though

If you need to reset it, lower the window to the bottom then hold the switch down for about 5 secs, then raise the window and hold the switch down for about 5 secs, and the one-touch should work again
<steve_earwig> I think this forum is more about keeping our cars going with minimal outlay than giving our cars more reason to go bang
