well yeah i am aware of that one - lol, but is there a kit that changes the pivot point of the lever and therefore reducing the 'throw' of the lever?

i have found this helps too so i was drawn towards the linkage also.my box oil "should" be not too bad the car is a 1999 but only got 62k on the clockFlySpeck wrote: A wiggle of the stick makes it go btw, thats why I reckon its the linkage

and yup lurch, the 406 shift's like a fecking victorian signal box. A short shift would be a godsend.
